Renfrewshire District

Renfrewshire District covers a mostly rural part of West Region with the River Clyde creating a natural northern border, Paisley and District to the southeast, North Ayrshire and Arran District to the southwest and Greenock and District to the west. There are 13 scout groups in the District which spread throughout with the furthest distance between groups being just over 13km. These groups include a Sea Scout group in Renfrew and an additional support needs group at Riverbrae Primary. The villages and towns of Erskine, Renfrew, Johnstone, Inchinnan, Bishopton, Houston, Bridge of Weir, Kilbarchan and Howwood host these groups.

Castle Semple Loch is situated just inside the district and the Sea Scout group make great use of this fantastic resource. The rolling hills to the southwest of the district provide plenty of opportunities to get out and explore.
