Could you help lead Scouting in West Region?

We are looking for an individual who can provide leadership, motivation and guidance to West Scouts and its volunteers. You don’t need any prior experience of Scouting to put yourself forward for this role: we’ll make sure that you’re fully trained and supported.

Lead Volunteers play a really important role in supporting those who lead local Scouting within districts and groups as well as other volunteers. Adults at every level of Scouting need support to ensure that they are motivated, inspired and focused on providing first-class Scouting. As a Lead Volunteer, you will also provide direction for West Scouts, and will help others see the bigger Scouting picture through solid leadership.

The Lead Volunteer doesn’t work alone –  you will work closely with the Regional and Scouts Scotland leadership teams to ensure that West Scouts is able to continue providing exciting Scouting opportunities.

So, if you’re up for an exciting leadership adventure, if you want to make a lasting impact, and if you share our belief in the power of Scouting, we’d love for you to apply for the role of Regional Lead Volunteer. We’re also open to nominations of other outstanding individuals you think would be a great fit for this role.
