First Response Training
This is a two part first response course, you must attend both parts to complete the course.
29th July and 30th July, 6pm-9pm
First Response is the minimum first aid requirement for volunteers in Scouting. It covers the skills and knowledge necessary to manage an incident and provide basic first aid.
First Response has been designed to cover key medical emergencies and conditions relevant to Scouts and Girlguiding, supporting members from Squirrels through to Adults.
The content is regularly reviewed based on current first aid practice and incident reporting to Headquarters to make sure it remains valid to the movement. First Response is a minimum requirement. Activity rules (POR) and local risk assessments will highlight if and when further first aid skills or qualifications are required.
