SUMMARY:Archery GB Instructor Course
DESCRIPTION:Would you love to learn how to lead archery sessions? Then come along to our beginners instructors course! The Archery GB Instructor Award is the industry’s leading training course for archery. The course is designed for learners with little or no prior experience of archery. \nWhat’s involved? \nYou will be trained and assessed by accredited Archery GB coaches who will show you how to: \nHow to shoot arrows \nHow to prepare and deliver archery sessions \nHow to select appropriate equipment \nHow to set up a range \nHow to ensure safety on the range \nYou will be able to lead fun and safe archery sessions for beginners. Learners must be at least 17 years old by the first day of the course. The successful learner will gain an Archery GB Instructor licence which lasts for three years. \nWhat’s included \nThe course fees include accommodation and catering across the weekend. Please let us know of any dietary requirements when booking. From the 3G Swing to a huge inflatable cliff jump and slide\, to zip lining and snow globe photo experience to jacobs ladder and an optional Loony Dook at Lochore Meadows for those brave enough to face the winter temperatures.\nThe evenings will be filled with entertainment as we have outdoor adventure activities and a Fun Fair Zone. \nWho is the event for?\nThis event is for Scout groups and their leaders. SUMMARY:BASP Emergency First Aid Training
DESCRIPTION:The course runs from 9am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday\, providing participants with as much practical knowledge and experience as possible through a combination of indoor and outdoor practical sessions. Friday night accommodation is available to make the most of the weekend. \nThe course covers emergency procedures; unconsciousness and recovery position; CPR; bleeding; fractures; burns; hypothermia and heatstroke; medical issues; and outdoor activity risks\, such as tick bites. \nThe course is suitable for outdoor workers\, instructors and enthusiasts.
