DESCRIPTION:Scout Adventures Fordell Firs is hosting their inaugural winter camp for Scouts! \nWhat to expect.\nThe Big Fordell Freeze will be an unforgettable winter adventure packed with exhilarating adventure activities to keep you entertained throughout the day and a fun fair zone and campfires at night. \nThe weekend will be filled with the well-loved adventure activities that you love and some new ones exclusive to this camp. From the 3G Swing to a huge inflatable cliff jump and slide\, to zip lining and snow globe photo experience to jacobs ladder and an optional Loony Dook at Lochore Meadows for those brave enough to face the winter temperatures.\nThe evenings will be filled with entertainment as we have outdoor adventure activities and a Fun Fair Zone. \nWho is the event for?\nThis event is for Scout groups and their leaders. SUMMARY:BASP Emergency First Aid Training
DESCRIPTION:The course runs from 9am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday\, providing participants with as much practical knowledge and experience as possible through a combination of indoor and outdoor practical sessions. Friday night accommodation is available to make the most of the weekend. \nThe course covers emergency procedures; unconsciousness and recovery position; CPR; bleeding; fractures; burns; hypothermia and heatstroke; medical issues; and outdoor activity risks\, such as tick bites. \nThe course is suitable for outdoor workers\, instructors and enthusiasts.
