SUMMARY:Scouts Scotland Challenge Hike
DESCRIPTION:Please note: this is not a West Region event. For full details and to register\, please visit the original event page: https://scouts.scot/event/challenge-hike/ \nBack this year at Lochgoilhead\, the Scouts Scotland Challenge Hike aimed at Scouts and Explorers.Navigate your way through the stunning Arrochar Alps surrounding the centre while making your way to different checkpoints. At each checkpoint there will be challenges for you to complete with points to be won. The more points you achieve the more chance you have of being crowned winners and picking up the prizes.Groups will stay at the centre each night and will get breakfast and dinner at the centre with a packed lunch.Young people must be in a team of 4. They must also have at least 1 leader accompanying them at centre through the weekend.Young people must have ability equivalent to Hiker Badge or Navigator Stage 4 or Mountain Training Hill Skills course. If not at this level get in touch to book a training weekend with us. \nCostThe cost of this weekend is £99 (under 18s) or £50 (18+). \nHow can I book?Booking is easy! DESCRIPTION:Please note: this is not a West Region event. For full details and to register\, please visit the original event page: https://scouts.scot/event/survival-skills-at-meggernie-2/ \nAbout the eventThe weekend will cover the badge requirements for The Scout Survival Skills Activity Badge. The first night will be spent in a tent provided by the centre and the second in a shelter constructed by the participants. The weekend is fully catered with Scouts cooking some of their meals during the course of the weekend. \nCost of event£55.00 per person \nExtra informationPlaces are restricted to no more than 6 per troop.
