For full details and to register\, please visit the original event page: https://scouts.scot/event/parent-and-cub-camp-2/ \nEnjoy creating special childhood memories with your Cub Scout\, and take part in our popular Parent and Cub Camp at Scout Adventures Meggernie this May.Would you like to re-live your own memories of Scouting or find out more about why your child loves being a Cub? The Parent and Cub camp is a great opportunity to have fun\, get outdoors and enjoy spending quality family time together.You’ll get to experience loads of fun outdoor activities in a stunning rural setting\, away from tablets\, mobile phone notifications and screens!Your stay will be supported by a friendly staff team\, who will make you feel welcome\, included and can help with any camping questions. \nWhat should I bring?The weekend is fully catered so participants just need to turn up with their camping kit and a two-person tent for sleeping under the stars. \nPVG disclosurePlease note that any adults attending the camp need to have had an enhanced disclosure secured by the Scout Association in the form of membership of the PVG Scheme\, and this can take up to six weeks to clear so please apply soon! \nHow do I book?Bookings are now open! Please fill in the form below to secure your spot: \nParent & Cup Camp Booking form – Word Doc format \nParent & Cup Camp Booking form – PDF formatThe cost of the event is £120 per pair. Upon booking you’ll be asked to pay a £60 deposit (per pair).Your group leader will need to sign a booking form regarding your PVG. This process can take at least six weeks. SUMMARY:Skills Weekend 2026
DESCRIPTION:Following on from the success of the Skills Weekend in previous years\, Lapwing Lodge are pleased to offer the opportunity to join them again in 2026. \nA weekend of skills learning aimed at leaders new and old. Young Leaders are allowed to attend on the Saturday. \nThe weekend runs from Friday evening\, 15th to Sunday 17th at Lunchtime\, this is a fully catered event. \nThere is also the opportunity to visit for the day where lunch is provided and young leaders are welcomed to join from 9am till 18.00 on Saturday 16th. \nNights away will be a full weekend course starting on Friday evening till Sunday afternoon\, and you will be required to camp. \nThe Paddle Sport Safety and Rescue is a full day course\, one running each day \n  \nVisit here for more information – Skills Weekend 2026 – Lapwing Lodge \nSign up here – Adult Skills Weekend 2026 | Cognito Forms
