Region Support Team

Open Volunteer Spots: Unlimited

West Region Support Group is a flexible way for adults over 18 to volunteer in Scouting without the full commitment of being a leader. It provides practical support to local Scouting activities, including events, catering, and can be tailored to individual skills and interests.

Flexible Volunteering: West Region Support Group allows adults to contribute to Scouting in a way that fits their availability and skills.
No Prior Scouting Experience Needed: You don’t need to have been a Scout or have prior experience to join.
Support for All Levels: Can operate at the Group, District, and Regional levels, offering support where it’s needed.

What it does:

Event Support:
Provides practical assistance at camps, District events, and other Scouting activities.

Skill Development:
Can teach skills to young people or other leaders, such as pioneering or other adventurous activities.

Resource Management:
May help with staffing of events, catering at events or just general support

What we are looking to do is provide a pool of skilled and willing volunteers who can be called upon to strengthen and enhance the Scouting experience for young people and leaders alike.
